A Sense Of Humour Can Help

In these difficult and challenging times, I find that most people fall into one of two camps:
1: Those that moan about EVERYTHING, and blame the government for the condition of the economy, and more often than not, expect that same government to get them out of the mess.
2: Those that are on the lookout for ways to differentiate their businesses. Every cloud has a silver lining and all that.

Given that an awful lot of businesses are struggling to make ends meet, I believe that one way you can differentiate yourself is by making potential customers smile. It says an awful lot about you, and your business if you can bring a little laughter into peoples lives, especially when your competitors are complaining.

I saw a taxi the other day, and across his windscreen he had printed the following:

MY BUSINESS IS PICKING UP

What class of business owner do you think he is?
Would you rather jump into a cab with a moaner, or one thats got a message like that across his windscreen?

Take a look at this blog. I love the style and humour thats going on here, and guess what, she is talking about smiling, and putting a happy face on things.

  1. Hi
I just found your blog, I have to say this is one of the best posts I have seen in a long time, just brilliant.

If there were only more people in the world that saw the silver lining than rather moaned this would be so much better and it would be a happier place, but then again maybe they balance each other out for some other reason.
