Danger Of Mice

We’ve just about come out the other side of a big chill here in the UK, and it inspired a good friend to share a little anecdote with me. You know those dashboard warning systems in cars? The ones that used to simply tell you your speed but which have got ever-more complicated with their messages? They now advice the driver, “windscreen washer needs topping up” or, “front nearside tyre is under-inflated”. Well, she was saying how she always sees a hidden message, and that during the current cold spell, she could have sworn her message said “Danger of Mice”.

Made me smile…. πŸ™‚

  1. Ice, mice, what’s the difference?

  2. I guess one is a rodent, and the other lays on the road and has potential to cause dents.
