In my line of work (Promotional giveaways and gifts), I have to ‘walk the walk’.
I can hardly recommend an imprinted gift to a client, “Go on, spend your money, it’ll bring the business in“, and then say, “Oh no, I don’t actually spend money on this kind of thing for my own business“.
So, let me ask you all a question:
What do you think a guy in my line of work does to promote their own business?
Let me tease you a little… last week at a networking event when I started to hand out my latest promotional gift business generators, I had people queuing up to ask me if they could have one.
That’s like people queuing up to ask you for your business card.
Any ideas what it was?
